Hello World: Why I'm Starting This Blog
I've been an AI Product Manager for a while now. In that time, I've written hundreds of PRDs, countless Slack messages that really should have been blog posts, and more Google Docs than I care to count.
The problem? All of that thinking is trapped in private channels and company wikis. None of it helps the broader PM community navigating the same challenges I've faced.
Why now?
Three things pushed me to finally start writing publicly:
-
The AI PM role is still undefined. There's no playbook. Most of us are figuring it out as we go, and sharing what works (and what doesn't) benefits everyone.
-
Writing forces clarity. Half the reason I'm doing this is selfish — putting ideas into words makes them sharper. If other people find them useful, that's a bonus.
-
The newsletter wasn't enough. I've been writing the AI PM Playbook newsletter for a while, but I wanted a home base for longer, more technical pieces that don't fit the newsletter format.
What to expect
I'll be writing about:
- AI product management — frameworks, processes, and hard-won lessons from shipping AI features
- Evaluation-driven development — how to measure AI quality before your users do
- The messy middle — the gap between an AI demo and an AI product, and how to cross it
- Tools and workflows — what I actually use day-to-day to stay productive
No posting schedule. No SEO-optimized listicles. Just honest writing when I have something worth saying.
Let's go
If any of that sounds interesting, stick around. And if you have questions or topics you'd like me to cover, reach out on X or LinkedIn.
Thanks for reading.
